Ninja?
June 21, 2014. I was lurking in the shadows, moving with the shadows. Wherever they go, I go, and eventually, I became the shadows. A coiled serpent I was, stalking my prey, waiting for the right moment to strike. They would never know what hit them. Or, at least that's what was going on through my nine-year-old mind at the time of that photo. When you look at the date, you would be surprised to find out that this photo was not taken during Halloween, not even remotely close. Why I chose to dress in a ninja costume and pose before my brother's phone in the middle of June, I have not a clue. I believe I found this costume lying around in a storage room somewhere, and decided to wear it thinking that I was the coolest nine-year-old ever. I was like every child after watching a couple of superhero movies -- pretending and hoping that I was secretly one as well.
