Earlier this week, I switched over from a Windows laptop to a Mac. While this might not sound too bad, it was embarassingly stressful. Not only did I have to deal with copying over the files from my previous laptop, but I also had to get used to a completely new user interface. And although I did get used to it pretty quickly, it reminded me how tough change can be. When we're faced with something new and unfamiliar, it can be scary and overwhelming. But change can also be incredibly exciting and rewarding. One of the hardest things about change is letting go of the familiar. We all have our routines and habits that make us feel safe and comfortable. But when we're forced to step out of our comfort zone, it can be intimidating and overwhelming.
